The playwright himself, Neil Simon, revised his hit play for a female cast in 1985. Instead of sloppy Oscar Madison and uptight Felix Unger, we have Olive Madison, played by Arts!O favorite Leigh Hodges,  and Florence Unger, played by Lynn Alexander in her second Arts!O appearance.

Girls Night Out is a weekly Trivial Pursuit game with Sylvie, Renee, Vera and Mickey, played by Lawanna Day, Camille Whitworth, Beverly Gorman and Anne McRee. Providing romantic interest for Olive and Florence are the Costazuela brothers, played by Brian Lance and Scott Lewis.  "If the audience laughs as much as the cast did at our first read-through, we'll need to pass out Kleenex with programs!" said director Shirley Dillard. "This is such a strong cast.

Every one of these actors has been on the Arts!O stage before. It's such fun to put them together in these new roles and relationships."  Mark your calendars now for this show which will run only one long weekend, Thursday through Saturday nights at 7 p.m. and Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m.

The show opens THURSDAY March 17 at the historic Crawford School.  Show dates are: Thursday-Saturday, March 17-19 at 7:00 PM and Sunday March 20 at 3:00. Tickets are available online at artsoglethorpe.org, at the Oglethorpe Echo or by calling 706-354-1339.  Tickets are $13 in advance and $15 at the door.
