This year, the
opportunity will be open to any eleventh or twelfth grade
student who writes a 500 word essay on, "The Importance of
the Arts to the Future of Oglethorpe County".
The essay will be judged
on originality, grammar, creativity, and clarity, as well as
involvement in Arts!Oglethorpe.
The be considered,
entries must be typed, double spaced and submitted with a title
page, typed essa and a list of events (if any) you have
participated in with Arts!Oglethorpe. Entry forms are
available at The Oglethorpe Echo, the Oglethorpe County
Library and through the OCHS Guidance Counselor.
Entries must be
postmarked by February 22, 2005. Mail entries to
